Suzie recently graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a split major in Sociology and Anthropology with a social Geography minor. In Febuary 2010 she spent a month in India on a study tour with UFV which complimented her focused studies on international development and poverty issues.
Although her academic focus was on poverty issues in the developing world, her passion and interest with human geography has led her into a new environmental obligation. She has joined the Fraser Valley Conservancy to gain experience and knowledge in the non-profit environmental sector and hopes to investigate her new found environmental conscience.
She hopes that the experience and knowledge she gains from working for a non-profit organization like the Fraser Valley Conservancy will aid in her long-term career goal of working for a Non Governmental Organization in developing countries.
