Phantom Orchid
The Environmental Stewardship Program is designed to engage landowners in completing Stewardship activities so they may better appreciate, restore, and protect their land. FVC is dedicated to creating relationships with landowners for the long term.
Actions and activities in this program may include but are not limited to: monitoring for species at risk, removing invasive species, planting natural species, learning about naturescaping, conservation covenants and land title donations.
Current Areas:
1. Ryder Lake and Chilliwack River Valley Watershed
2. Sumas Mountain, Abbotsford
Current time bound projects within the Environmental Stewardship Program include: Phantom Orchid monitoring and the Ryder Lake Amphibian Protection Project.
