Wildlife Reports

Wildlife reports aim to identify sensitive wildlife and wildlife habitat issues related to private land development in the areas in question. Wildlife reports encourage land use decisions that ensure the integrity of these species and/or habitats. Reports are intended to provide a standard assessment of known species and habitat information for a development property, but are not intended to replace field surveys for species occurrences and habitat values.

Wildlife Reports are commonly applicable for:

  • Land Developers
  • Curious Landowners
  • Nature lovers

Past clients that received Wildlife reports include:

  • Scott Resources Services Ltd.
  • ENKON Environmental Ltd.
  • Bianchini Biological Services
  • Fraser Valley Watershed Coalition

Testimonials

“I have requested wildlife reports from the FVC on several occasions as a requirement under the City of Abbotsford development permit process. As a professional biologist, it is very important that the background information I gather is accurate and focused on the area that I am studying. Unfortunately, some information sources are not available to me. The FVC reports contain not only the general information that is needed for the project area, but their access to local naturalist reports, sensitive species information and up to the minute ortho photo images mean that the report they produce is extremely accurate. I only wish these reports were available for every part of British Columbia!”
