Learn more about Native Plant Gardening from Jon!

As we had to postpone our Native Plant Gardening workshops for our Nature Stewardship School series this year, Jon thought he would share some of the content with you!

First he took us on a walk through a nearby forest to show us the plants in their natural environment:

He then talked about how you can incorporate native plants into your backyard:

And then he reviewed some examples of his favourite plants, including tips on where they grow best and what kind of food they provide:

And don’t forget if you want more details on other plants he doesn’t talk about check out the center page of our Gardening with Native Plants guide

We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.

Support from a Community Gaming Grant helps us provide conservation ideas and activities to the communities of the Fraser Valley!
