What is Nature Stewardship School?

Whether you live in an urban or rural setting, in an apartment, house, or farm — everyone is welcome.

Participate in our nature-focused workshops to learn how you can help wildlife in your community.

What Will I Learn?

We cover a wide range of topics that will help you learn the habitat needs of wildlife and what you can do to support them.

Stewardship 101 introduces the concept of caring for nature in the Fraser Valley. Additional workshops include gardening with native plants, how to create specific types of habitat where you live, and species-specific topics such as pollinators and amphibians, to name a few.

Workshops are developed based on community interest and feedback from participants.

How Do I Participate?

You can choose to attend any workshop to learn about a topic of interest to you, or you can participate in them all. No previous knowledge is required.

Workshops are suitable for anyone interested, ages ten and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult family member.

The workshops are in-person or through online webinars. Events are either free or have a nominal registration fee. See our events calendar below for upcoming workshops.
