Haig Highway Fall Work Party

Come help us remove litter and invasive plant species from a riparian area near Haig Highway to help prepare the site for our planting event! Let’s make Agassiz a healthier and happier habitat for all life forms!

We will provide all necessary equipment, as well as refreshments. However, if you have your own gardening gloves or garbage pickers you would rather use, please feel free to bring them.

Please dress in closed-toed shoes, long sleeves and long pants, as we may be removing prickly plants, like the Himalayan Blackberry.

Children are welcome as long as they come with parental supervision.

The work party will take place rain or shine, so come prepared to brave any predicament that Mother Nature may throw at us!

We’ll be meeting at the West end of Morrow Road at 9:00 a.m. You’ll receive more event details upon registration.
