Come join us on the last Saturday of May to help beautify Lane Creek! We’ll feed you pizza if you help us remove some invasive plants from this beloved trail!
We will be joined by the Fraser Valley Invasive Species Society (FVISS) who will give a brief workshop on invasive species and lead an invasive species removal.
We will provide all necessary equipment, as well as refreshments. However, if you have your own gardening gloves or garbage pickers you would rather use, please feel free to bring them!
Please dress in closed-toed shoes, long sleeves and long pants, as we may be removing prickly plants, like the Himalayan Blackberry.
Children are welcome as long as they come with parental supervision!
We’ll be meeting at the back of the Mission library parking lot at 10:00 a.m.
