The Fraser Valley Conservancy is pairing up with Sage and Solace Farm who is hosting a showing of the award-winning documentary, Common Ground. We are looking for three dedicated volunteers to help support this event by either greeting guests and taking tickets, directing traffic to the parking area, or at the concession stand handing out popcorn and canned drinks.
The documentary profiles a hopeful movement of farmers using alternative “regenerative” agriculture methods – helping to protect the planet and reducing impacts of our changing climate. Volunteers will get a free ticket to attend.
Registration is required.
Volunteer Assets:
• Comfortable engaging with the general public.
• Able to stand and direct slow-moving traffic.
• Capable of handling and serving popcorn and canned drinks.
• A high-visibility vest will be given to each volunteer and must be worn during the duration of the event.
