Join Us for Wetland Planting at ​Gordon’s Brook
on Wednesday, October 10th!

Once a fallow agricultural field that was too wet to be farmed, Gordon’s Brook Wetland  is being restored  o an shallow, open water marsh. Help us restore this amazing wetland, and learn how this site provides  important habitat for species at risk!​.

We need your help to add some plants to our new wetland!

We’re looking for energetic volunteers to help us plant native wetland plants in this final phase of the Gordon’s Brook restoration project.

Time: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm

Come prepared to spend the day outside & get a little dirty!

• Wear weather-appropriate clothing

• Wear sturdy footwear (rubber boots strongly recommended)

• Bring plenty of water

• All tools will be provided by the FVC
