Along the Haig Highway

a long stretch of grass was rolled up and soil prepared.

Native plants

were brought to the site and laid out to prepare for planting.

Fall 2022

volunteers gathered to help plant over 400 native trees and shrubs.

Volunteers continued

to take care of the pollinator patch by weeding and mulching the area adding a pleasing esthetic.

In 2023

volunteers stewarded a nearby area by removing invasive Himalayan blackberry, and then planting 122 native trees and shrubs.
