We’re heading back to see how the plants our amazing volunteers put in the ground last fall are doing. Our very own plant expert (and nature enthusiast!) Jon Blais will lead the way and share the story behind these special plants and their importance to the trail. \nThere are three short tours to choose from\, each with the same awesome content and limited to 10 people. \nTour times:\n9:00 am –9:30 am \n9:45 am – 10:15 am \n10:30 am – 11:00 am\n \nImportant Reminders:  \n Registration required. \n Free event; Children are welcome with adult supervision. \n\nIf you are signing up as a group of 5+\, please contact patricia@fraservalleyconservancy.ca to confirm with us first. \n\n

Do you want to help wildlife living in urban environments and get your workout in at the same time? If so\, we want you on our team! \nWe’re looking for energetic volunteers who are up to a physical challenge. We need help receiving and placing our plant order for an event at Mckee Park in Abbotsford the following weekend \n\nVolunteer Assets: \n• Physically fit and able to consistently go up and down stairs. \n• Capable of working on uneven and sloped terrain. \n• Be able to move and carry plants weighing 5-30 pounds up to 375 meters away. \n• Able to take and follow instructions for proper placement. \n  \nClick here to read the full volunteer job description. \n\n\nNOTE: Please arrive on site for 8:45 am to go over all safety instructions and orientation.
