Do you live in the Fraser Valley? Are you interested in helping nature and wildlife in your neighbourhood? We have an event coming up that might interest you! This Ryder Lake Nature Team event is open to anyone living in the Fraser Valley. We will be building a temporary fence along Elk View Road to help amphibians travel from the breeding wetlands to the forest!
Volunteer Assets:
• Capable of lifting up to 15 lbs and climb over fencing
• Comfortable using a shovel, hammer and staple gun
• Able to stand and walk on uneven ground/in a ditch along a road, and in a hay field
• Works well in a team and follows instructions
